Very new at growing veg Empty
PostSubject: Very new at growing veg   Very new at growing veg I_icon_minitimeWed 06 May 2009, 02:44

And I mean it. I have been growing veg for about 6 weeks if that. Everything is growing in containers as I have no soil in the garden at all.

Just goes to show that you can grow veg anywhere. I bought those flower buckets from Morrisons 99p for 8 of them. Drilled some holes added some stones to the bottom and filled with Mutli purpose compost. I have parsnips, carrots, garlic and raddishes growing in those.

I have potatoes growing in the empty compost bag. I cant wait to start picking the fruits of my labour so to speak.
