Cinnamon Plums

Ingredients

227g/8 oz plums
1 level tsp ground cinnamon
2 egg yolks
283g/10 oz very low fat natural yogurt
½ tsp vanilla essence
artificial sweetener, to taste

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4. Cut the plums in half, discard the stones and place in a 568ml/1 pint ovenproof dish, or 4 individual dishes. Sprinkle with some of the cinnamon.

2. Beat the egg yolks with the yogurt, vanilla essence and sweetener and pour over the plums. Stand the dish in a roasting pan and add water to come halfway up the sides of the dish. Cook in the oven for 30 minutes, until set.

3. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon over the dish. Serve hot or cold.

Serves 4

1 syn per serving on both
