Chow Mein Sauce
Ingredients
2 Tsp Dark Soy Sauce
1 Tbsp Dry Sherry
1 level Tsp cornflour
1 Tsp artificial sweetener
2 tsp sesame oil
a bunch of spring onions, trimmed and shredded
1 green chilli, deseeded and cut into thin strips
1 tsp minced garlic
Method
1. Mix together the soy sauce and the sherry and then stir in the cornflour until smooth.
2. Add the sweetener and sesame oil, stir well.
3. Finally add the spring onions, chilli and garlic and combine before throwing into the wok to coat your choice of ingredients in the last few minutes of cooking.
